Mr. William Phillip Groover age 73, of Groover Rd. Boaz, Alabama, died Monday Nov. 5, 2012 at Marshall Medical Center South.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at McRae Chapel with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz Alabama is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Groover was born in Alabama on May 7, 1939 to Leonard and Delcie Miller Groover. He was retired from Republic Steel in Gadsden.
Mr. Groover is survived by his: Wife: Judy Groover of Boaz, Sons & Daughter-in-Law: David Groover of Dawson, Craig & Kaye Groover of Boaz. Daughters: Renee Bearden and Serena Hill both of Boaz. Grandchildren: Ray Hill, Joe Hill, Amber & Chase Colquitt, Brandon Groover, Drew Bearden, Breanna Bearden, Cody Groover, Monica Groover. Great Grandchildren: Grant Colquitt and Eli Williams. Brother & Sister-in-Law: Ken & Linda Groover of Georgia. Sisters & Brothers-in-Law: Jan & Hoyle Hayes, Mary & Jack Wilson both of Boaz, Dianne Denney of Birmingham. Pallbearers will be: Ray Hill, Joe Hill, Brandon Groover, Cody Groover, Drew Bearden and Chase Colquitt. .
