Mr. William Andrew "Andy" Dyar, age: 58 of Summerville Homes, Boaz, Alabama died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012 at his residence.
Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, Aug. 31, 2012 at McRae Chapel with Bro. Keith Dodd officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz, is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Dyar was born in Boaz, Alabama on June 29, 1954 to Dr. Jefferson Frederick Dyar, Sr. and Billie Rae Styke Dyar. He was a 1972 graduate of Boaz High School. He attended Auburn University and later attended Jacksonville state University where he graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science. He served with the United States Marine Corp. from 1972 to 1978, receiving an honorable discharge and attained the rank of Staff Seargent. Andy was a life-long avid hunter and fisherman with a sincere love for the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Dyar is survived by his: Brother & Sister-in-Law: Jefferson F. Dyar, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Dyar of Birmingham, 1 niece: Amanda Dyar Villanueva of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and 1 nephew: Robert F. Dyar of Birmingham.
