William Amberson

William "Bill" Amberson, 94, of Boaz, Alabama died Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Marshall Medical Center South in Boaz.
Funeral service will be Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church Boaz with Bro. Keith Dodd, Wayne White, Wayne Scott, and Dr. Aaron Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 until the time of service at the church.
Mr. Amberson is survived by his wife Zadie Nell Wells; sons & daughters-in-law Phillip Hughes & Virginia Amberson of Boaz, James Dana & Emily Amberson of Hartselle, and William Ray & Karen Amberson of Boaz; grandchildren Avril Amberson & Peter Smith, Jill & Hunter Mintz, Hughes & Jennifer Amberson, Ashley & Jarrod Hand, and Will Amberson; great-grandchild Zadie Ann Mintz; and special niece Mary Wells Malone.
Pallbearers will be Hughes Amberson, Will Amberson, Hunter Mintz, Jarrod Hand, and Butch Wills. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Gideon Ray Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church Boaz, Bet Falkner, and Norman McCord.
