Wayne Holcomb

Mr. D. Wayne Holcomb, age 82 of Boaz, Alabama, died on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at his residence.

Service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021, at Two o’clock p.m. at Pleasant Hill #1 Baptist Church with Bro. Bruce Campbell officiating. He will lie-in-state from 1:00 pm until service time. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill #1 Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Holcomb was born in Alabama on February 15, 1939, to Edward Wayne & Inez Stott Holcomb. He was a retired used automobile dealer.

Mr. Holcomb is survived by his Son & Daughter-in-Law: Gary W. & Karen Holcomb of Boaz, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Teresa & Tim White of Boaz, Grandchildren: Brandy & Patrick Mathis, Latasha Amidon & Children, Shane Johnson (Allison), Cory & Kenna Garrard and Chosen Granddaughter: Kristy Pierce, Great Grandchildren: Chandler Johnson (Damon), Conlee Johnson, Henlee Johnson, Dakota Bowlds (Paige), Kaelin McElvain (Christian), Kadence Garrard and Kennady Garrard, Great Great Grandsons: Greyson and Joseph Bowlds, and Brother: Donald Holcomb of Shady Grove . He was preceded in death by his Parents: Edward & Inez Holcomb and Wife: Shirley Ann Pullen Holcomb.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Mullinax, Mingo Holcomb, Brad Holcomb, Patrick Mathis, Damon Strawn, and Dakota Bowlds. Honorary Pallbearer will be Gary Carter.
