Mrs. Vera Prance, 78, of Alabama Hwy 227, Geraldine, Alabama, died Saturday, April 18, 2015 at her residence.
Service will be Tuesday, April 21, 2015, 1 o'clock p.m. at McRae Chapel with interment in the Geraldine Cemetery. Bro. Cody Nugent will be officiating. McRae Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Prance was born in Alabama on Sept. 18, 1936 to John Houston Dobbs & Mary Leonnie Morris Dobbs.
Mrs. Prance is survived by her Son: Larry Kelley of Arab and the late Jerry Kelly, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Machelle & Tim Nugent of Geraldine, Daughter-in-Law: Terri Kelley Jordan, Grandchildren: Clay Kelley, Jerrod Kelley, Daniel Paschal, Eric Phillips & Whitley, Chris Phillips & Hailley and Brandon Phillips, Great Grandchildren: Shea Kelley, Kailynn Kelley, Lyla Phillips, Kason Vanicelli, Nicholas Phillips, Emma Phillips, Brianna Paschal, Colin Paschal, Makenzie Paschal, and Will Paschal. Sister: Martha Powell. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband: Thomas Prance, Sisters: Peggy Swain, Odessa Sullivan, Mary Dunn, and Maxine Kelley, Brothers: John Dobbs and Junior Dobbs.
Pallbearers will be Eric Phillips, Chris Phillips, Brandon Phillips, Tim Nugent, Clay Kelley and Jerrod Kelley.
