Vera King

Mrs. Vera Evelyn Walls King, age 91, of Albertville, formerly of the Union Community, died on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Albertville Nursing Home.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Eleven o’clock a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery, with Bro. Blake Hughes officiating. The family request observance of Health Department guidelines for the use of masks and social distancing.

Mrs. King was born in Alabama on August 20, 1929, to Luther Walls and Mamie Powell Walls. She was a homemaker. Mrs. King is survived by her Daughter & Son-in-Law: Judy & Etheridge Williams of Sardis, 2 Granddaughters and a one Great Grandchild, Sisters: Connie Pass and Wanda Myrick both of Albertville. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Will King, Parents: Luther & Mamie Walls, Sister: Nellie Sue Jenkins and Brother: John Terry Walls.
