Mr. Thomas O. “Tommy” Hinton age 76, of Ellis Road, Boaz, died on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at his residence.
Service will be at two o’clock pm on Saturday, February 6, 2021in the McRae Chapel with Bro. Chris Watkins and Bro. Mike Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethsaida Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from noon until service time at the funeral home. The family request adherence to the current health restricts of masks and social distancing. Please save your hugs and handshakes for healthier and happier times.
Mr. Hinton was born in Floyd County, Georgia on February 26, 1944 to E. W. & Pauline Tidmore Hinton. He is a retired lineman with Marshall-Dekalb Electric Cooperative.
Mr. Hinton is survived by his Wife: Gayle Price Hinton of Boaz, Son & Daughter-in-Law: Brian & Sonya Hinton of Boaz, Daughter: Tonya Hinton Littleton of Boaz, Grandsons: Javin Langley, Collin & Taylor Langley and Reagin Langley, Brothers & Sisters-in-Law: Ken & Betty Hinton of Prattville and Terry & Peggy Hinton of Fairhope, Sisters & Brothers-in-law: Doris Scott of Crossville, Glenda Phillips of Boaz, and Martha & Danny Machen of Geraldine, Brothers-in-Law & Sisters-in-Law: Gary & Dana Price, Ricky & Laura Price and Mary Nell & Paul Teague, and a Host of Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents: E.W. & Pauline Hinton and Sister & Brother-in-Law: Jane & Tommy Joe Bowers.
Pallbearers will be Javin Langley, Collin Langley, Reagin Langley, Gary Price, Ricky Price and Scott Bobo.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Bethsaida Baptist Church, 2539 Bethsaida Road, Boaz, AL 35957 or to Encompass Hospice 9044 Highway 431 N, Suite B, Albertville, AL 35950.
