Terry Sims

Mr. Terry Bert Sims, age 51, of Mt. Vernon Homes, Boaz Alabama, died on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.

Service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020 at two o’clock p.m. at McRae Chapel with Eulogy provided by Lavon Nailer and Bro. Whitt Hibbs officiating Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill #2 Cemetery in the Sims community. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Sims was born in Alabama on April 15, 1969 to Roger & Mary Thompson Sims. He was a long-haul truck driver and worked at Hancock Motors.

Mr. Sims is survived by his Son: Tyler Walker of Holly Pond, Brother: Tim Sims of Boaz, Step-mother: Liz McClendon Sims of Albertville, Selected Family: the Hancock Family, Uncles: John Thompson, Jimmy Thompson and Tommy Thompson all of Boaz, Gary Sims of Albertville, Aunts: Dot Nailer  and Martha Stephens both of Albertville. He was preceded in death by his parents: Roger & Mary Sims.

Pallbearers will be Justin Hancock, Brad Hill, Dewayne Wray, Kenny Abbott, Kenny Alvarez, Neal McCoy, John Wynn and Brad Hancock.

Flowers will be accepted or donations are suggested to the family.
