Shirley Ann Troxtel Clifton., age 62, of Mt. Vernon Homes, Boaz, Alabama died Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Service was Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at McRae Chapel, with Bro. Tex Martin officiating. Interment will be in the Red Hill Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz, Alabama is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Clifton was born in Alabama on Oct. 12, 1948 to Elbert Troxtel and Mozelle Beck.
Mrs. Clifton is survived by her: Son & Daughter-in-Law: Johnny & Sylvia Gilliland of Attalla, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Chundra & David Canady of Boaz Grandchildren: Justin & Emily Gilliland, Jason & Chrissie Gilliland, Jonathan Tompkins and Chase Messer, Great Grandchildren: Jaggar Gilliland and Adriana Gilliland. Mrs. Clifton was preceded in death by her parents, Husband: Troy "Jimmy" Clifton, Daughter: Stacy Gilliland and Sister: Brenda Lang.
Pallbearers were David Kelley, Tim Autwell, Barry Holderfield, and James Elrod.
