Samuel Larry Walker

Mr. Larry Walker age 82 of Boaz, Alabama, died on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Marshall Medical Center South.

Funeral service will be held at Two o’clock pm on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at the Shady Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Stanley Jones & Bro. Bruce Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Walker was born in Alabama on April 19, 1941, to Martin Luther & Mary Susie Barksdale Walker. He was a deacon at Shady Grove Baptist Church and retired from Coca Cola.

Mr. Walker is survived by his Wife: Bobbie Walker of Boaz. Daughter & Son-in-Law: Rosemary & Danny Thornhill of Boaz. Step-Daughter: Karen Turner of Boaz. Grandchildren: Jacob & Evan Thornhill, Daniel & Micaela Thornhill. Step Grandchildren: Hunter Holcomb, Drake Holcomb, Bailey Jones. Great Grandchildren: Brady Thornhill, Blakely Thornhill, Lynlee Thornhill. Step-Great Grandchild: Navi Rae Jones 

Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his Parents: Martin Luther & Mary Susie Walker. Wife: Bonnie Walker. Brother: Billy Walker. Sisters: Trilba Walker, Lozella Mann.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Roberson, Kevin Rowan, Kirby Hubbard, Chris Darden, Jacob Thornhill, Daniel Thornhill.

Honorary Pallbearer will be David Sewell.
