Mr. Sammy Derwayne Scott, 78 of Leeth Gap Road 31, Boaz, died Sunday, Jan, 6, 2013 at a Rome Georgia Hospital.
Service will be 2 o'clock p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Smith Chapel Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz is in charges of the arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 - 2 at the church.
Mr. Scott is survived by his Wife: Martha Presley Scott of Boaz, Sons & Daughter-in-Law: Stephen Derwayne & Sandra Scott of Sardis and Jonathan Presley Scott (Tracy Vernell) of Boaz, Granddaughter: Caitlyn Jones of Sardis, and Brother: Buddy Jack Scott of Boaz
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Presley Scott, Stephen Derwayne Scott, Tony Johnson, Tim Scott, Todd Scott, Wade Mashburn, Donald Thomas and Gary Williams.
