Ruth Boland

Mrs. Willie Ruth Boland, age 81, of the Manor House in Boaz, Alabama died on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.

Service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Two o’clock p.m. in the Chapel of McRae Funeral Home. Bro. Charles Hall and Bro. Glendale Davis will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Nixon Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Boland was born in Alabama on July 2, 1936 to William Elbert & Zelma Wilson Parrish. She was a retired Teacher’s Aide helping with special needs children. Mrs. Boland is survived by her Husband: Carlee Boland of Boaz, Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Kenny & Cindy Boland of Boaz, Roger Boland of Tennessee and Benny & Shelly Boland of Boaz, Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Melissa & Rodney Knight of Albertville and Angie & James Reeves of Boaz, 12 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, Brother: Walter Parrish of Texas and Sister: Wilma Dean Morton of Albertville. She was preceded in death by her Parents and Daughter: Polly Boland Stallings, Grandson: Major Boland and Granddaughter: Christie Boland.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Boland, Cory Reeves, Shane Parrish, Robert Boland, Jeremy Boland and Jon Cole. Honorary Pallbearers will be a Host of Nieces and Nephews and the Members of Springdale Baptist Church.
