Mrs. Rosa Heard Martin, age 91 of Summerville Road, Boaz, Alabama died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012 at her residence.
Services were held on 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 at McRae Chapel, interment in Hillcrest Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Harrison, Bro. Lynn L. Gillilan and Bro. Kevin Painter officiating. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz, Alabama is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday evening 5 - 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Martin was born in Alabama on July 28, 1921 to George W. & Rebecca Ann Cosper Heard. She was a homemaker
Mrs. Martin is survived by her Son & Daughter-in-Law: Grady & Connie Martin of Boaz, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Cheryl & DeWayne Lovell of Albertville, Grandchildren: Laila Marie Martin, Michelle Lynn Martin, Jeremy & Lolita Reagan and Amy Vaughn, Great Grandchildren: Clay Reagan, Morgan O'Neal and Addi Vaughn, Brother & Sister-in-Law: John & Hazel Heard of Boaz.Special Friend and Caregiver: Billie "B.B." Nichols. She was preceded in death by her husband: Grady Martin, Sr.
Pallbearers will be Cliff Greer, Josh Greer, Lynn Milner, Roger Seay, Phillip Seay, and Jimmy Heard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Gray, Kenneth Berryhill, Ralph Holliday and Harley Hickman.
