Rev. Harvey Ray Taylor, age: 90 of Albertville, Alabama died Friday, August 10, 2012 at Marshall Medical Center South.
Funeral Service will be 1 p.m., Monday, Aug.13, 2012 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with interment to follow in the adjoining Cemetery. He will lie-in-state at the church from noon until funeral time. Bro. Steven Ray Taylor and Bro. David Martin will be officiating. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Sunday evening 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
Rev. Taylor is survived by his: Wife: Mary Ellen Taylor of Albertville, Son & Daughter-in-Law: Steven Ray & Shirley Taylor of Texas, Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Mary Beth & Terry Foshee of Douglas, Linda Faye & Edward Johnston of Arab and Peggy Joyce & David Simmons of South Carolina, 9 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, Sister: Lois Duncan of Gadsden.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons; Honorary Pallbearers will be the Friendship Sunday School Class of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. The family is accepting flowers or suggests donations to the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Building Fund.
