Mrs. Rachel Reed Barclay, 83, of Snellgrove Ave, Boaz, Alabama, died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015 at NHC Healthcare in Moulton.
Service will be held at One o'clock p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, 2015 at McRae Funeral Home Chapel McRae Funeral Home; Boaz is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Monday from 11 until funeral time at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the Rock Springs Mitchell Memorial Cemetery in Mt. Hope.
Mrs. Barclay was born in Alabama on Dec. 19, 1931 James D. & Cora Richard Reed. She and her Husband Dallas Barclay were the owners of Barclay Gold for 24 years and The Barclay RV Park in Boaz.
Mrs. Barclay is survived by her Husband: Dallas Barclay of Boaz, Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Jack & Frances Spillers of Mt. Hope and Mickey & Debra Spillers of Russellville, Step-Children: Mark & Cia Vantassell and Ellen & Mark Anderson all of Texas, 8 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, Sister-in-Law: Margorie Reed of Sheffield Family will serve as Pallbearers. Family will accept flowers or suggests donations to the American Cancer Society or to Alzheimer's Services of Marshall County.
