Mrs. Kidd was born in Etowah County, Alabama on Feb. 14, 1917 to Charley & Tellie Garrard. "Grannie" Kidd was a lifelong resident of Rodentown and Boaz. "Grannie" loved spending her time with family and friends, crocheting, singing, playing rook, cooking for her grandkids and taking care of all her beautiful flower gardens, especially her roses. We all loved her "feisty" spirit and there will never be another "Grannie" to us. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed on this earth.

She leaves behind many cousins, nieces & nephews that have been very dear to her through the years. In addition to her many friends and neighbors, we would also like to thank her adopted family and the staff of Oneonta Golden Living Center and the staff Asera Care Hospice. Mrs. Kidd is preceded in death by her Husband: J.W. "Wince" Kidd.
