Nell Meeks

Mrs. Nell Meeks, age 71, of Bethsaida Road, Boaz, died on Monday, March 9, 2020, at her residence.

Service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at One o’clock p.m. in the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Umphrey will be officiating. Visitation will be from eleven until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Meeks was born in Alabama on December 8, 1948, to Bud & Corene Yarbrough Umphrey. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Meeks is survived by her husband: Travis Meeks of Boaz, Son: Dwight Meeks of Florida, Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Tammy & Randy Bunn of Albertville and Deanna & Kevin Leeth of Crossville, Grandchildren: Corey Bunn, Cody Bunn and Drayton Leeth,6 Great Grandchildren, Brother: Frank Umphrey of Aurora and Sister: Mary Ann Wright of Aurora.

Pallbearers will be Corey Bunn, Cody Bunn, Drayton Leeth, LaDon Smith and Kenneth Wright.
