Mary Ruth McCormick, 84, of Crossville, Alabama formally of Boaz died Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Crossville Health and Rehab.
The funeral service will be Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11:00 am at the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shannon Pullen officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Ms. McCormick is survived by her son & daughter-in-law Jimmy & Kathy Diamond McCormick; daughter & son-in-law Donna & Micah Johnston; brother Thomas Earl Nix; sister Patricia Ann Collins; granddaughters Leah Katherine McCormick and Lindsey Nicole McCormick; numerous nieces and nephews; and six grandpuppies.
She is preceded in death by husband J.W. McCormick; parents Marvin & Georgia Ann Brannon Nix; sister Martha Acker; and brother Buddy Nix.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Baird, Shannon Collins, Alex McKinney, Nathan Walker, David Skinner, Jake Burns, and Chris Acker. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Nurses & CNAs of Crossville Health and Rehab.
The family requests no flowers and donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund.
