Mrs. Martha Nan Snead, 79, of Alabama Highway 205, Boaz, Alabama, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2015 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Gave service will be held at Two o'clock p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015 at Hillcrest Cemetery with Bro. Aaron Johnson officiating. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Snead was born in Alabama on Aug. 15, 1936 to Jay Henry & Mary Ruth Hays Stanfield. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Snead is survived by her Son & Daughter-in-Law: Marcus & Delania Snead of Boaz, Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Elizabeth & David Stanfield of Tennessee, Nancy & Kenneth Goodwin of Birmingham, Tracy & Randall Garner of Boaz and Peggy & Gary Shamblin of Birmingham, Grandchildren: Matthew Snead, William Garner and Conner Shamblin, Brother: Larry Stanfield and Sisters: Peggy Stanfield of California and Joyce Scogin of Boaz. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Curtis Edward Snead III and her Parents: Jay Henry & Mary Ruth Stanfield. Honorary Pallbearers will be Roger Cornutt, Dennis Duffey, David Stanfield, Kenneth Goodwin, Randall Garner and Gary Shamblin. Family suggests donations to the Humane Society or a Charity of Choice.
