Mrs. Martha Pounds, age 86 of Boaz, Alabama, died on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Diversacare of Boaz

Funeral service will be held at Two o’clock pm Friday, January 19, 2024, at the McRae Chapel with Bro. Wayne White officiating. Interment will follow in the Memory Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 1:00pm -2:00pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pounds was born in Alabama on September 12, 1937, to B. Roscoe & Almy Yancey Smith. She was Co-owner of Boaz Music and Sound along with her late Husband Clifton Pounds.

Mrs. Pounds is survived by her Sister: Jane Alexander of Boaz, A Host of Nieces & Nephews.

Mrs. Pounds was preceded in death by her Parents: B. Roscoe & Alma Yancey Smith. Husband: Clifton Pounds. A Host of Brothers & Sisters.

Pallbearers will be Family & Friends.
