Martha Johnson

Mrs. Martha Ann Johnson, age 81, of County Road 1855, Arab Alabama, died on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Marshall Medical Center North.

Service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at two o’clock p.m. at McRae Chapel with Bro. Trent Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Arab Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Blountsville, Alabama on April 21, 1938 to Curtis & Bernice Bowers Loyd. She was a retired Tax Officer with the IRS.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her Husband: Gerald Waylon Johnson of Arab, Sons & Daughter-in-Law: Russell & Barbara Johnson of Texas, Gerald Dwayne Johnson of Birmingham,  Grandchildren: Amanda Ballard (Kenny) and Tasha Creel (Jacob),Great Grandchildren: Oliver Ballard and Parker Ballard, Brother: Vernon Loyd of Florida, Sister & Brother-in-Law: Linda Woodruff (Bob) of Hartselle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Her daughter: Carla Johnson and Sister-in-Law: Frances Loyd.
