Mrs. Lillian Duffey Smith age 85, of Concord North Carolina formerly of Boaz, Alabama, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012 in North Carolina.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012 at Aurora Baptist Church with Bro. Chad Robertson & Bro. Harold Coe officiating with interment to follow in Aurora Cemetery McRae Funeral Home of Boaz; Alabama is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Smith was born in Etowah County, Alabama on May 7, 1927 to Green & Ila Lee Atchley. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her: Son & Daughter-in-Law: Danny & Sarah Duffey of Aurora, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Laura & Max Davis of Concord, NC, Grandchildren: Derek Davis, Kristi & Rodney Vaughn, Angela Duffey, Joseph Earl Duffey, II, Alison Small, Charity & Chris White, Great Grandchildren: Weston Duffey, Josiah White, Beth McCoy, Brittany McCoy, Jacob Vaughn, Jordan Vaughn, Kaitlyn Duffey, Savannah Harper and Lexi Golden, Numerous friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, 5 Brothers and 2 Sisters. Pallbearers will be Weston Duffey, Josiah White, Jacob Vaughn, Dennis Duffey, Rodney Vaughn, Joseph Duffey, Frank Click and Chris White
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Aurora Baptist Church.
