Lanoyette Thomas

Mrs. Lanoyette Thomas, age 98, of Albertville Nursing Home, formerly of Boaz died Sunday, September 16, 2018 at her residence.

Service will be held at eleven o’clock a.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doyce Putman officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Thomas was born in Alabama on June 23, 1920 to Samuel & Mamie Moore Minor. She was the manager of the local motel for years.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her Son: Donald Thomas of Boaz, Grandchildren: Chad & Tinker Thomas of Boaz, Tracie & Stephen Bachman of Florida and Sonya & David Laveau of Colorado, Great Grandchildren: Tyler Thomas, Matt & Bree Thomas and Katelyn Croft and Great Great Granddaughter: Josie Thomas. She was preceded in death by her Parents: S. J. & Mamie Minor, Husband: Dures Thomas, Son: Max Thomas, Brothers: Ed Minor & Sam Minor and her Sister; Shirley Thomas.

Pallbearers will be Chad Thomas, Steve Bachman, Tyler Thomas and Matt Thomas.
