Lamon Dendy

Mr. Lamon Dendy age 71 of Boaz Alabama, died on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.

The funeral service will be held at four o’clock pm Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Elder Mitchell Phillips and Elder Kenneth Watts officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. He will lie-in-state at the church from 3 until service time on Tuesday.  Visitation will be on Monday evening, April 3, 2023, from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Dendy was born in Alabama on August 14, 1951, to G. W. & Ruby Hill Dendy. He was a retired farmer.

Mr. Dendy is survived by his daughters: Angela Dendy Blair (Matthew) of Cullman and Ruby Mae Dendy of Boaz, Grandchildren: Bailee Clark, Brilee Clark and Karlie Clark, Sister: Shirley Jourdon and Niece Kathy Burnhardt both of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents: G. W. & Ruby Dendy, brother: William Lawrence Dendy and sister: Janette Perryman.

Pallbearers will be Rickey Cornutt, Jeff Cornutt,Chris Cornutt, Brian Butler, James Atchley, and Wade Adams.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the New Hope Cemetery fund.
