LaDon Duke

Mr. George LaDon Duke, age 71, of Altoona, formerly of the Boaz area died on Friday, July 10, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Duke was born in Alabama on July 6, 1949 to Henry & Eudelma Prance Duke. He was a gospel musician and minister. He was also a proud US Army Vietnam Veteran having served in the 101st Airborne.

Mr. Duke is survived by his Daughter & Son-in-Law: Dr. Amy Butler and Dr. Bobby Butler, Granddaughters: Heather Sheets and Dr. Jennifer Carter and 7 Great Grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents: Henry & Eudelma Duke and a Son: Brandon Duke.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Wounded Worriers Project.
