Ken Bagwell

Mr. Ken Bagwell, age 90, of Copeland Drive, Boaz, died Monday, December 19, 2016 at St. Vincent's East.

Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec.21, 2016 at First Baptist Church Boaz with entombment in Memory Hill Cemetery. Bro. Keith Dodd, Dr. Aaron Johnson will be officiating with Bro. Tommy Pearce directing the music. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at funeral home. McRae Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Bagwell was born in Union Grove, Alabama on September 29, 1926 to Leo & Simmie Parker Bagwell. He was a proud WWII Navy Veteran. He was also retired from his own State Farm Insurance Agency and a member of First Baptist Church Boaz for almost 50 years. Mr. Bagwell is survived his Daughter & Son-in-Law: Linda & John Springfield of Trussville, Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Tommy & Cathy Bagwell of Huntsville, Phillip & Jae Bagwell of Knoxville and Perry Bagwell of Huntsville, 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, Brothers: Sim Bagwell of Morgan City and Wendell Bagwell of Arab and Sisters: Louise Wilson of Union Grove, Marion Jenson of Huntsville, Juanita Neighbors of Attalla and Bernice Collins of Arab. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Leo and Simmie Bagwell, Wife: Helen Bagwell, Daughter: Patricia Ann Bagwell, Grandson: Jeffery Scott Springfield and Daughter-in-Law: Shelia Bagwell.

Pallbearers will be Gary Neighbors, Marc Newell, Shane Whitehead, Keith Collins, Kevin Collins, Korey Collins and Shane Bagwell.
