Mr. Joseph “Joe” Wilson, age 81 of Boaz, Alabama, died on Friday, September 12, 2024, at his residence.

 Funeral service will be held at One o’clock pm, Monday, September 16, 2024, at the McRae Chapel with Bro. Lewis Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 12:00pm –1:00pm at the funeral home.

 Mr. Wilson was born in Alabama on January 26, 1943, to Herman & Fannie Spates Wilson.

 Mr. Wilson is survived by his Wife: Glenda Wilson of Boaz. Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Tracy & Shannon Brooks of Gadsden, Lori & Chip Richards of Dawson, Joanna Lusk of Alaska. Grandchildren: Kristen Richards, Daniel Richards, Nick & Naomi Richards, Alex & Bailey Richards, Reagen & Matthew Lawson, Darrian Brooks, Phebe & Alex Nelson. Great Grandchildren: Zaida Marbury, Teigan Brooks, Preslee Richards, Charlee Richards, Jameson Richards, Rory Richards. Sister: Patsy McCormick of Gadsden.

 Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his Parents: Herman & Fannie Wilson.4 Brothers & 1 Sister.

 Pallbearers will be Chip Richards, Shannon Brooks, Alex Nelson, Matthew Lawson.
