Mr. Joseph Emanuel Martin, 95, of Medical Center Parkway, Boaz died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Shepherd's Cove.
Service will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church with Bro. Mike Spivey officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2 - 3 at St. Paul. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz, Alabama in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Martin was born in Boaz, Alabama on Jan. 25, 1916 to John F. & Jennie Lee Sanders Martin.
Mr. Martin is survived by his: Granddaughter: Rani Taylor of Texas, Great grandson: Cutter Kittrell of Texas, Nephews: Hugh Wayne Croft of Pinson, Edward Croft of Argo and Bradford Croft of Florida. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his Wife: Katherine Cheatwood Martin and his Daughter: Jo Ellen Martin.
Pallbearers were Hoyle Hayes, Clellan Hefner, John Kitchens, Roger Gentry, Phillip Green and David Dodd. Honorary Pallbearers were the Joe Marin Fellowship Sunday School Class at St. Paul United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to St.Paul United Methodist Church.
