Joe Richey

Mr. Joe B. Richey, 81, of Martling Road, Albertville, Alabama died Thursday, March 29, 2018 at his residence.

Service will be Monday, April 2, 2018 at two o’clock p.m. in the chapel of McRae Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Geraldine. Bro. Wayne Brooks and Bro. Junior Croft will be officiating. Visitation will be Monday from noon until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Richey was born in Dekalb County, Alabama on May 24, 1936 to Virdery & Nellie Estelle Oliver Richey. He was a retired tour company bus driver.

Mr. Richey is survived by his wife: Frances Richey of Albertville Son & Daughter-in-Law: Jeffry & Donna Richey of Gadsden, Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Julie & Phillip Myer and Beth & Jeff Baird all of Albertville , 8 Grandchildren 12 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandson, Brothers & Sister-in-Law: Wayne Richey of Tennessee and Morell & Judy Richey of Grove Oak, Sister & Brother-in-Law: Kathy & Richard Cooper of Tennessee.

Pallbearers will be T. J. Baird, Phillip Myer, Joe Lang, Terry Stone and Phillip McCoy.
