Mrs. Joan Elaine Allen, 69, of Hope Street, Boaz died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at her residence.
Service will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 1:00 o’clock p.m. at McRae Chapel. Bro. Ricky Williams will be officiating with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday 6-8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Allen is survived by her Son & Daughter-in-Law: Jessie Ray & Susan Allen of Boaz, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Cindy & Kenny Boland of Boaz, 2 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, Brothers: J. R. Brown and George Thomas Brown both of Kilpatrick and George William Brown of Boaz, Sisters: Peggy Maroney and Catherine Lesley both of Boaz and Carolyn Brown of Kilpatrick. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Jessie & Frankie Brown, Husband: Jimmy Ray Allen and Granddaughter: Christie Leigh Boland.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Boland, Junior Boland, Brian Anderson, Sam Burnett, Ryan Burnett and David Smith.
