Mrs. Janith Hill, age 78, of Altoona, died on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at her Residence.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 2:00 o’clock pm in the chapel of McRae Funeral Home with Bro. Ray “Red” Rowan officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30 pm until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hill was born in Alabama on March 26, 1943, to Verbon & Euthema McCurley Smith, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Hill was a member of Mt. Olive Church in Altoona.

Mrs. Hill is survived by her Husband: James Hill of Altoona. Son & Daughter-in-Law: Terry & Tina Walls of Altoona. Daughter & Son-in-Law: Kellie & Bo Davenport of Altoona. Son-in-Law: David Bynum of Gadsden. Grandchildren: Stephanie & Johnny Collins, Crystal & David Schilleci, Misty Walls, Ashlee & Tray Strawn. Great Grandchildren: Lucas Collins, Lexie Collins, Nichole Wilemon, Jonathan Collins, Justin Collins, Jeremiah Haiston, Jana Haisten, Jacob Haisten, Liam Strawn, Sadie Strawn, Zane Priest, Nevaeh Priest, Gavin Hamilton. A host of Great-Great Grandchildren. Brother: Carl Smith of Walnut Grove.

Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her Parents: Verbon & Euthema Smith. Daughter: Kim Bynum.

Pallbearers will be: Johnny Collins, David Schilleci, Trey Strawn, Lucas Collins, Jeremiah Haisten, Jacob Haisten, Zane Priest.
