Janet Coby Woodham

Mrs. Janet Coby Woodham, age 80, of Albertville, Alabama, died on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice. 

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at two o’clock pm at the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Martin and Bro. Matt Coby officiating. Interment will follow in Bethsaida Cemetery. A visitation will be on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from noon until service time at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Woodham was born in Albertville, Alabama on August 4, 1944, to Robert & Gertrude Dobbs Coby. She was a retired childcare provider.

 Mrs. Woodham is survived by her Daughters: Lisa & Don Scott of Boaz and Mary & Jamie Gore of Albertville, Grandchildren: Tyler & Leah Scott, Lauren & Trey Orr, Ryan & Anna Collins, Maleah & Mason Alexander, Jared Gore and Mitch & Bailee Gore, Great Grandchildren: Lincoln Orr, Emmett Orr, and Asher Gore. Sisters: Jenny Snider of Albertville and Linda Grindle of Boaz. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Robert & Gertrude Coby, Husband: Jim Carlin and Gerald Woodham, Brothers: Billy, James, Henry, Harold and John Coby, Sisters: Eunice Scott, Betty Campbell, Ann Steffens, Rosemary Freeman Wilson, Gaynell Coby and special friend: Wanda Reed.

 Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Scott, Trey Orr, Ryan Collins, Mitch Gore, Jared Gore, and Mason Alexander.

 In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Pre-School or Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
