James Sharp

Mr. James E. Sharp, age 64, of Rocky Ridge Road, Jacksonville, Alabama formerly of Boaz, died on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Jacksonville Regional Medical Center.

Service will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at One o’clock p.m. at the Chapel of McRae Funeral Home with Tony Gunter officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Sharp was born in Scottsboro, Alabama on August 27, 1953 to Benton & Mary Clements Sharp. He worked as a grocery store manager in the meat department. Mr. Sharp is survived by his wife: Sherry Wade Sharp of Jacksonville formerly of Boaz, Sons: Shane Stephens of Montgomery and David Sharp of Scottsboro, Daughters: Tara Sharp Arriaga of Scottsboro and Michelle Reardin of Boaz, 8 Grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter, Brothers: Dale Sharp and Carl Sharp both of Scottsboro, Sisters: Beulah Watson of Anniston and Janice Garrett of Red Bay. He was preceded in death by his parents: Benton & Mary Sharp and Brothers: Billy Sharp and Larry Sharp.

Pallbearers will be his family and friends.
