James Nugent, Sr

James Frank Nugent, Sr, 79, of Stephens Street, Boaz, died Monday, October 5, 2015, at Marshall Medical Center South.

Mr. Nugent served 27 years in the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife of 52 years: Amber Louise Nugent; Sons & Daughter-in-law: Tim & Machelle Nugent and James Nugent, Jr.; Granchildren: Cody & Laina Nugent, Lacey Nugent, and Kristin Nugent; Great-Grandchildren: Nolan Nugent and Ava Nugent; Step-Grandchildren: Eric & Whitley Phillips, Chris & Hailley Phillips, and Brandon Phillips; Step-Great-Grandchildren: Nicholas Phillips, Emma Phillips, Lila Phillips, and Kasen Vanicelli; Sister Dorothy Jones; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Nugent joined his Great-Granddaughter Evelyn Nugent in death.

Pallbearers will be James Nugent, Justin Blanks, Tim Nugent, Shawn Brice, Farrell Blanks, and Cody Nugent.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Farrell Blanks officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the time of service.
