James Giles

Mr. James Giles, age 85 of Boaz, Alabama, died on Monday, July 12, 2022, at Albertville Nursing Home.

Funeral service will be held at Two o’clock pm on Friday, July 15, 2022, at the McRae Chapel with Bro. David Martin & Bro. David Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 12:00pm – 2:00pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Giles was born in Alabama on February 15, 1937, to Grover & Ethel Wells Giles.

Mr. Giles is survived by his Wife: Lillian Giles of Boaz. Son & Daughter-in-Law: James & Wendy Giles of Boaz. Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Annette & Greg Hardin of Montevallo, Jeanine King of Boaz, Peggy & Brian Pendergrass of Boaz. Grandchildren: Hillary Key, Zachary Hardin, Brandan Rogers, Andrew Giles, Bradley Giles, Tinzley Wilson, Matt Pendergrass. 14 Great Grandchildren. Sisters: Jimmie Dean Tarvin of Boaz, Betty Ruth Garrard.

Mr. Giles was preceded in death by his Parents: Grover & Ethel Giles. Brothers: G.C. Giles, Orlyn Giles, Joel Giles, Travis Giles, Arvil Giles. Sisters: Faye Nell, Annie Ree.

Pallbearers will be Zachary Hardin, Jeremy Rogers, Andrew Giles, Bradley Giles, Kyle Wilson, Matt Pendergrass.

Family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Youth Ministries.
