Jacqueline Smith

Mrs. Jacqueline McCreless Smith, 84, of Niles Road, Boaz, Alabama, died Sept. 30, 2014 at Marshall Medical Center South.

Services will be Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, eleven o'clock a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church with Bro. Morris Stephens and Bro. Keith Dodd officiating with burial to follow in the adjoining Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday evening 6 - 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith was born in Alabama on Dec. 1, 1929 to Walter Emmitt & Mary Ballew McCreless. She was retired from Guntersville Hospital.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her Son: Donald Burgess of Boaz, Daughters and Sons-in-Law: Caron & Clint Junkin of Texas and Melanie & Gregory Maxwell of Pelham, Grandchildren: Adam & Meghan Burgess, Tyler Junkin, Philip Maxwell, Jackson Maxwell and Ryan Maxwell, Great Grandson: Luke Burgess, Sisters & Brother-in-Law: Bobbie Glassco of Horton and Bonnie & Wendell Glassco of Boaz. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband: Philip Smith and Brother: J.R. McCreless.

Pallbearers will be Charles Smith, Reggie Smith, Ted McCreless, Bob Duckett, Lendell Glassco, Vince Glassco and Steve Knowles. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Alabama School of Gospel Music.
