Mr. Harold Lloyd "Luke" Worthy, age 81 of Thomas Ave., Boaz, Alabama died Monday, Aug. 12, 2013 at Marshall Medical Center South.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Boaz, with Bro. Richard Pettijohn, Bro. Bob Hunt, and Bro. Jonathan Lancaster officiating, interment to follow in Douglas Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz, Alabama is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 - 1 at the church.
Mr. Worthy is survived by his Wife: Pat Worthy of Boaz Son & Daughter-in-Law: Stephen & Leslie Worthy of Guntersville, Daughter and Son-in-Law: Suzanne & John Weatherwax of Southside, Grandchildren: Anna Rebecca Worthy, Jared Rudd & Alicia Weatherwax, Mary Ashley Weatherwax, Great-Granddaughter: Mary Sophia Weatherwax , Sisters & Brother-in-Law: Jimmie Frachiseur of Boaz and Jo & Leno Tabacchi of California, Caregiver and Special Friend: Chris Pettijohn.
Pallbearers will be Oran Adams, Steve Williams, Steve Liverett, Doyce Walker, Phillip Amberson and Frank Mastin. Honorary Pallbearer: the R.P. Steed Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church Boaz.
