Gweneline Thomas

Mrs. Gweneline Thomas, age 94 of Boaz, Alabama, died on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.

Service will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at Two o’clock p.m. at Pleasant Hill #1 Baptist Church with Bro. Bruce Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill #1 Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 6 until 8 at the funeral home and at the church from 1 until service time on Sunday.

Mrs. Thomas was born in Alabama on April 15, 1927, to Earnel Decker & Corrie Bell Ross Murdock. She was a retired cook with the hospital.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her Grandson: Michael Thomas of Boaz, Granddaughter: Catina Hamilton of Boaz and 5 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Earnel Decker & Corrie Bell Murdock, Husband: Charles J. Thomas, Daughter: Sandra Bohanon and Son: Charles E. Thomas and Sister: Iredell Barkley.

Pallbearers will be Richie Barkley, Michael Thomas, Trea Thomas, Doyle Ross, Matt Hamilton, and Roper Thomas.
