Mr. Grady Martin,Sr. Age 88 of Summerville Road, Boaz, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011 at his residence.
Funeral Services were at 2p.m.,Jan. 4, 2011 at McRae Chapel with Bro. Lynn L. Gilliland, Bro. Howard Westmoreland and Bro. Jimmy Harrison officiating, interment followed in Hillcrest Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz, is in charge of arrangments.
Mr. Martin was born in Alabama on Sept. 15, 1922 to Walter J. & Lula Mae Smith Martin. He was retired from the Steel Plant and a farmer.
Mr. Martin is survived by his Wife: Rosa Heard Martin of Boaz, Son & Daughter-in-Law: Grady, Jr. & Connie Martin of Boaz, Daughter & SOn-in-Law: Cheryl & DeWayne Lovell of Albertville, Grandchildren: Jeremy & Lolita Reagan, Laila Martin, Michelle Martin & Amy Vaughn, Great Grandchildren: Clay Regan, Morgan O'Neal and Addi Vaughn, many neices and nephews. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Pallbearers were Roger Seay, Phillip Seay, Corey Vaughn, Jimmy Heard, Cody Vaughn, and Mandell Tillman
