George "Dal" Whitmire

Mr. George “Dal” Whitmire, Sr., age 81 of Albertville passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024, at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham.

Funeral Service will be Two o’clock pm Thursday, February 8, 2024 at McRae Chapel with Bro. Pat McFadden officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00pm-2:00pm at McRae Chapel.

Mr. Whitmire is survived by his Wife: Linda Whitmire of Albertville. Daughter & Son-in-Law: Dallery Hudgins (Andy) of Albertville. Son & Daughter-in-Law: George & Liz Whitmire of Boaz. Grandchildren: Justin Whitmire (Katie), Ashley Whitmire, Amber Carnes, Amanda Cervantes (Migel), Hunter Hudgins (Lulu), Jacob Hudgins; and sisters, Barbara Sue Whitmire McFadden, Judy Whitmire Sampley and Adela Dianne Whitmire Manning as well as; great grandchildren, Jaxtin Whitmire, Javin Whitmire, Elizabeth Carnes, Zoe Carnes, Avery Carnes, Max Cervantes, Emitt Cervantes, Camryn Williams, Brayden Williams, Baylor Hudgins and Theodore Hudgins.

Mr. Whitmire is at last reunited with his beloved parents; Amon Elisha Whitmire and Adela Gilbreath Whitmire; brothers, John B. Whitmire, Paul Elisha Whitmire, Bobby Joe Whitmire, Charles Amon Whitmire and Steven Lamar Whitmire; sisters, Gloria Joy Richey, Patsy June Downer and Georgia Ann Marie Whitmire.
