Franklin Strickland

Mr. Frank "Dean" Strickland, age: 79, of Bruce Road Boaz, Alabama, died Sunday, June 28, 2015, at Shepherd's Cove.
Service will be Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Eleven o'clock a.m. at First Baptist Church Boaz where he will lie-in-state from 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Aaron Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Skirum Methodist Church Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Strickland was born in Alabama Feb. 4, 1936 to Raymond & Ruby Terrell Strickland. He was retired from Goldkist as a top tier manager.
He is survived by his wife of 59years: Janice Brumbeloe Strickland of Boaz, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Donna Strickland Hudson & Dr. James H. Hudson of Valdosta, Georgia and Guntersville, one granddaughter, Step Grandson and his wife: James H. Hudson III & Katie of Greenville, SC and step great grandson: Marshall Hudson, Brothers: Thomas Strickland of Birmingham, Johnny Strickland of Albertville, Glenn Strickland of Geraldine, Sisters: Martha Cannady of Albertville, Mavis Guest of Asbury, Patricia Maddux of Guntersville and Cyndy Smith of Whitten and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Raymond & Ruby Strickland and a brother: Junior Strickland.
Pallbearers were Isaac Faucett, B. J. Faucett, Mike Underwood, Scott Brumbeloe, Shane Strickland, Dr. Roger Adams and John Coby. Honorary Pallbearers were Reid Faucett, Coby Cobb, Terry Wren and the R. P Steed Sunday School Class, Kenneth Gillilan, Barry Jeter, Wyatt Adams and Parker Adams.
