Etta Simmons

Mrs.  Etta Mae Simmons, age 95, of Manor House, Boaz, Alabama died on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at her son’s residence.

Funeral service will be held at two o’clock p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne White officiating. Interment will follow in the Beulah Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday afternoon from 1 until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Simmons was born in Alabama on November 1, 1922 to Tom & Oma McDonald Bright. She was homemaker.

Mrs. Simmons is survived by her Sons: George Simmons, Jr. of Altoona & Phillip Simmons of Attalla, Special friend: Marlon Smith of Boaz, 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband: George Simmons, Sr., Daughter: Patricia Simmons and Daughter-in-Law Kay Simmons.

Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation to the Westside Baptist Church.
