Mr. Elliott Ladun Hill, age 68 of Brown Road, Douglas, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at UAB.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Bethany Baptist Church, Bro. Morris Stephens, Bro. Dewayne White will be officiating with Shannon Mitchell speaking. Interment will follow in Douglas Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz, Alabama is in charge of the arrangements. He will lie-in-State from 10 until 11 at the church on Saturday. Visitation will be Friday evening 4 - 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Hill was born in Marshall County Alabama on Nov. 28, 1944 to Haskell & Dera Dean Hill.
Mr. Hill is survived by his Wife: Sandra Copeland Hill of Douglas, Son & Daughter-in-Law: Corey & Stephanie Hill of Douglas, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Tracy & Charlie Jimmerson of Douglas, Grandchildren: Jill Jimmerson, Jalon Jimmerson, Rhea Hill, Redden Hill and Ramsey Hill Sister: Linda & Edward Brown of Georgia
Pallbearers will be: Roger Whitehead, Ray Wadkins, Gary Tidwell, Phillip Reaves, Shannon Mitchell, Jim Mitchel, Tim Swack and Tommy Roberts.
