Mr. Edward Lamar "Eddie" Davis, age 60, of Boaz, Alabama died Saturday, June 11, 2011 at his residence.
Service will be Tuesday June 14, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at McRae Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Wayne White,Bro. Richard Pettijohn and Bro. Byron Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz, Alabama is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Davis was born in Alabama on Oct. 5, 1950 to Orville Edward and Naomi Amos Davis.
Mr. Davis is survived by his: Wife: Marla Dawn Davis of Boaz, Son: Eric Davis of Albertville, Daughter: Anna Davis of Boaz, Mother: Naomi Davis of Boaz , Sister: Myra Davis of Boaz, Father & Mother -in-Law: Jimmy & Jackie Jenkins of Boaz, Sisters-in-Law & Brothers-in-Law: Dana & Gary Price and Denise Monday & Scott Bruce, Grandmother-in-Law: Ellen Jenkins and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his father: Orville Davis.
Pallbearers will be Gary Price, Shane Otinger, Anthony Thompson, Tim Lackey, Kenny Deru and Bruce Parris
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation to Children's Hospital of Alabama, 1600 7th Avenue South, Birmingham, Alabama 35233.
