Mrs. Edna Marcelle Chandler age 86, of North McCleskey St., Boaz, Alabama, died Monday, July 11, 2011 at Shepherd's Cove.
Funeral service will be Thursday July 14, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at McRae Chapel with Bro. Wayne Scott officiating. Interment will be in Memory Hill Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz, Alabama is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Chandler was born in Alabama on February 17, 1925 to George Grady & Grace Mathis Freeman. She was a retired secretary for the First Baptist Church of Albertville.
Mrs. Chandler is survived by her: Son & Daughter-in-Law: Robert & Debra Chandler of Tennessee, Step Granddaughter: Alicia Winningham, Step Great Grandson: Noah Chandler Winningham, Brother: Henry Freeman of Tennessee, Sister & Brother-in-Law: Jo Ann & Joe Johnson of Birmingham, Sisters-in-Law: Virginia Freeman of Albertville, Sarah & Bob Moon of Gadsden, Rosemary & Bobby Wilson of Boaz. Mrs. Chandler was preceded in death by her parents, Husband: Robert Chandler, Brother: James Freeman and Grandson: Dustyn Taapken, Uncle: Ross Freeman.
Pallbearers will be David Moon, Bruce Johnson, Ronnie Maise, Don Maise, Robert Leeth, and Tim Whitt. Honorary Pallbearer: Noah Chandler Winningham.
