Mr. Doyle S. Plunkett, 74, of Fulton Street, Albertville, Alabama, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Marshall Medical Center South.
Service will be Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. in the Hillcrest Cemetery with Bro. David Martin officiating. McRae Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Saturday from 2 until 3 at the funeral home.
Mr. Plunkett was born in Alabama on Dec. 27, 1940 to Dolphus "Dock" & Sewilla Miller Plunkett. He was a retired banker.
Mr. Plunkett is survived by his wife: Judy L. Plunkett of Albertville, Sister & Brother-in-Law: Barbara & John Persefield of Texas, Nephew: John Mark Persefield and Nieces: Steffanie Lazzell, Amy Plunkett and Leslie Plunkett. Mr. Plunkett was preceded in death by his parents "Dock" & Sewilla Plunket and Brother: Ronnie Plunkett.
Pallbearers will be Charles Smith, Tommy Chandler, Stan Clemons, John Mark Persefield, Thomas Seay and Chuck Rigsby.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Building Fund.
