Doris Singleton

Mrs. Doris B. Singleton, age 78, of Boaz, Alabama, died Monday, August 2, 2021, at Albertville Nursing Home.

Funeral service will be Three o’clock p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021, at the McRae Chapel with Bro. Tommy Foxx officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Thursday 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Singleton was born in Alabama on February 21, 1943, to John Haley & Eula A. Foxx Brown. She was a retired librarian of the Boaz Public Library.

She is survived by her Daughters & Son-in-Law: Angela Kim Singleton of Albertville, Robin Singleton Ponder & Chris of Guntersville. Grandchildren: Brittany & Josh Hollingsworth, Colt Ponder. Great Grandchildren: Porter Hollingsworth, Isla Hollingsworth. Brother: Billy Tillery of Georgia. Loving Dog: Katie. Aunt: Irene Elrod. A host of Nieces, Nephews, cousins and best friends.

She was preceded in death by her Husband: Glen Singleton.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Brown, Mike Brown, Kyle Brown, Drew Brown, Calan Brown and Colt Ponder.
