Doris Brock

Mrs. Doris Brock, age 87, of Boaz, Alabama, died on Monday, March 4, 2024, at her residence.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date with Bro. Mike Goforth officiating. There will not be a formal visitation. 

Mrs. Brock was born in Alabama, on August 18, 1936, to Homer & Maudie Garmon Hedgepeth. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Brock is survived by her Daughter-in-Law: Lisa Brock of Boaz, Son-in-Law: Richard Gilbert (Diane) of Boaz, Grandchildren: Nicole Knight (Jason), Brock Gilbert (Stephanie), Kari Hooper (Tyler), and Anna Brock (Katlin), Great Grandchildren: Caleb, Colby, and Braden Knight, Kaygan Shelton, Marlie & Maelyn Kreger, Aleigha and Aubrey Brock, Sisters: Shelby & Fred Steward of Boaz and Eloise Lee of Glencoe. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Nolan Brock, Son: Marty Brock, Daughters: Pam Gilbert and Sheila Talliaferro, and granddaughter Amanda Smith.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Hooper, Jason Knight, Bob Blackburn, Robert Rosser, and Tim Gilliland.

The family extends special thanks to Jan Smith, Ann Scott, Anita Felton, and Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to either the Sardis Cemetery or Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
