Donald "Don" Bouldin

Mr. Donald “Don” Bouldin, age 77 of Boaz, Alabama, died on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at his residence.

A funeral service will be held at two o’clock pm, Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Shannon Pullen and Bro. Mike Spivey officiating, Eulogies provided by Randall Morton and Tim Smith. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Mr. Bouldin will Lie-in-State at the church from noon until service time. A visitation will be Monday evening, October 23, 2023, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Bouldin was born in Dekalb County, Alabama on April 2, 1946, to V.S. & Flonnie Haygood Bouldin. He was an industrial carpenter for the steel plant for many years and finished his career as the building inspector for the city of Boaz.

Mr. Bouldin is survived by his wife: Linda Oliver Bouldin of Boaz, Son: Jason Bouldin (Sandy) of Boaz, Daughter: Jennifer Bouldin Plunkett of Boaz, Grandchildren: Madison Bouldin Cobb (Coby), Emmalee Beck, Makenlee Beck, Samantha Chamblee and Jacob Chamblee, Sister: Judy Russell of Georgia, Sisters-in-Law: Betty Bouldin and Jean Bouldin and Special Buddy: Kasen Fountain. He was preceded in death by his Parents: V.S. & Flonnie Bouldin, Brothers: Durall, Ernest and Preston Bouldin, Sister: Inez Bouldin.

Pallbearers will be Jackie Pullen, Lee Weaver, Coby Cobb, Chris Whorton, Jacob Chamblee, and Jay Turk. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tim Jolly, Jackie Alexander, Tommy Mosley, Chuck Bizarth, Jerry Don Sims, Mike Poore, Welton Brooks, Cooter Mosley, Neil Riggins, Gerald Thomas, Bobby Weathers, and the Grumpy’s Coffee Club.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice, 408 Martling Road, Albertville, AL 35951 or the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church Playground Fund.
