Mrs. Dolly Ann Pruitt, 60, of Marvin Pearce Road, Boaz, Alabama, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015 at her residence.
Service will be Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015; 2:00 p.m. at McRae Chapel Chaplain ray Howton US Army Retired officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pruitt was born in Alabama on Oct. 4, 1955 to James William & Gwendola Willis Pannell. She was retired as a nurse with Golden Living of Boaz. Mrs. Pruitt is survived by her Husband: Marc Pruitt of Boaz, Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Joe & Roxie Kenner of Boaz and Jeff & Dixie Keener of Ft. Payne, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Kathy & Johnny Allison of Boaz, Step Daughter: Jennifer Pruitt of Sardis, 12 Grandchildren, Sister: Jayne & Lamar Rosson of Attalla. She was preceded in death by her Parents: James & Gwendola Pannell and Grandson: Justin Keener.
Pallbearers will L. J. Rosson, Bo Bennefield, James Bennefield, Heath Smothers, Chad Jones and Anthony Helton.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society.
